Mountain Tienzi facts

Tianzi (Son of Paradise) the Mountain Reserve - one of four beautifull places in Wulingyuan (three other places - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve and Yangjiajie Scenic Area). 

Gore Tienzi provides great views of peaks which raise one by one. It is known as 'the Monarch of the Peak Wood'. Above the mountain the visitors see fully Beautiful places of Wulingyuan. Beautiful places of the mountain welcome visitors during various seasons. There are four miracles: Sea of Clouds, Shine of the Moonlight, Beams of Sunlight and Snow in the winter.

Formation of the mountain Tienzi

Just as Suoksi-Velli the mountain Tienzi was created by sedimentary rocks 318 million years ago. Those rocks destroyed by water and wind slowly turned into quartz stones which created those delightful peaks in beautiful places.

Legend of the mountain Tienzi

Gore Tienzi is prevailed by a name from the person, Xiang Dakongya. He was the leader of ethnic group of Tu within last years of the southern Song dynasty (1127 - 1279). Xiang Dakun gave revolution and recognized himself as Tianzi (Son of Paradise). Visiting these beautiful places, visitors see many places about its history, the most impressive being: Bismuth Yu peaks, Xian Nü San Hua and Shen Bing Ju Hui.

With pines on top bismuth Yu (imperial brushes) Peaks raise up into the sky. The legend goes that they are brushes Tianzi-Xiang which Dakun used which became stone peaks after his martyrdom. Nv San of Xian of Hua (gifts of flowers fairies) is a little bismuth Yu opposite to Pikov. The legend goes that Xiang Dakun and his army were defeated to return to the mountain Tienzi. He fought to the bitter end, but at last jumped off from the rock. The girl loving it went through the mountain to look for it. It scattered flowers on rocks and turned into a stone statue. Shen Bing Ju Hui - the wood in a military way the peaks built for a response.

The funicular car in beautiful places of the mountain Tienzi

Visitors can get into the funicular car to see these charming peaks. With 692-meter (approximately 2.270-foot) difference in the eminence the funicular makes 2.084 meters (about 2.279 shipyards) in length. The minimum duration is six minutes and twenty two seconds for the only trip during which visitors can save a remarkable landscape of the mountain Tienzi under review.

The best time to visit the mountain Tienzi

Annual average temperature is 12 degrees Celsius, and average annual heavy rain makes 1.800 millimeters. There are about 240 days without frosts. The best months to explore this mountain are April, May, September and October.
